2005 trailblazer makes a clicking sound on the front end when I accelerate

A clicking usually is a CV joint going bad, just look at the CV boots for any grease, wet spots on the boots. This would indicate a torn boot, so then the CV joint would be contaminated and need replacing. The clicking also could be coming from the brakes but that would be an unusual circumstance. But never the less the front end should be looked at, a noise indicates that there is a problem starting.
