Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer that is giving me some issues.
I have a recall out on the Driver's Side Window control, which a part is on
order for. (This may or may not be relevant)
Today, I was in a drive-through, and couldn't roll down my window (because
of the window control) so I opened my door to pay and get my food. When I
closed my door, my reading lights didn't shut off immediately and I realized
that none of my lights were working on my radio, or the air/heat, my 2WD -
4WD switch, or my headlight switch. My radio works, my Air works, just no
display or lights

I did just switch out the circuit board for my driver's side brake light as it had
shorted out and melted the board and the bulb.

I dealt with the same thing on my 06 about the same time my own master switch went out. Tid bit for ya, not sure if the recall is still active, so if you get a new one, you need to have dealer program it. Used, no programing, plug and play.

The recall is still active, and the part is on order. The dealership already tried to yank me around a bit and wants to make sure it's the part that has gone bad. I straight up told them, they will do the recall work, and not touch another thing on my vehicle. They have a bad rep, but the only GM dealership in town, so I'm stuck with them. I'm a chick, but my ex-husband is a mechanic, and he's taught me a lot, and still helps me out!
