06 Trailblazer No start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 06 trailblazer will not start. I turn the ignition
switch all the way on to start the vehicle between
15 and 20x butt there is no crank or no start like if
there is no battery but yet all the dash lights work
as normal. Today it took me 20 times to try and
start it with nothing and when I finally got it started
it ran good for one block and then died out and
wouldn't start again for about another 20 tries. I
had the ignition switch change to 10 months ago
and I recently bought a second ignition switch and
it is still doing the same thing any ideas?

The problem started about three weeks ago. I had the ignition switch changed 10 months ago and about 3 weeks ago I was at a stoplight and my truck suddenly lost power. A check engine light with an arrow pointing down appeared so I disconnected the negative battery cable and tried to start the vehicle and after about 20 tries of turning the ignition switch all the way on to start I noticed the car would not even crank so I had the battery tested and it showed good it also showed good alternator and good starter I bought a second ignition switch and the problem is still there although the check engine light with the arrow is no longer there. I also notice when I turn the ignition on without starting it I cannot put the gear into neutral but at times I can any ideas?
