replaced air suspension from 97 lincoln mark viii with swap of ford thunderbird

Asked by May 01, 2016 at 02:35 AM about the 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII 2 Dr LSC Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought '97 mark viii with apparent strut swap from Ford Tbird.
Trouble is, vehicle appears a tad low.  With vehicle side by side with my Tbird, T bird is noticeably higher in ride height/ground clearance.  Anyway to increase the ride height/ground clearance in the Lincoln Mark VIII?

Sounds like the wrong height springs are being used. I can't comment on if the T-bird ones are compatible.....http://www.strutmasters.com/suspension- parts/lincoln/lincoln-mark-viii/

Suncore has spring kits to replace the entire air suspension system with springs or they have replacement air suspension parts. Good quality and reasonably priced.....http://www.suncoreindustries.com/LINCOLN-MARK-8-VIII- suspension.php
