What's the noise
When I turn my battery on, and off, start the car, shut it down, etc. near my glove box,
there's a weird "turning" noise... I'm just wondering what it is. My AC doesn't work, and I
was told my Blend door is jammed. Could that be the blend motor working, but "not"
since the door is jammed? I had my mechanic try and open it, as he has always been
able to on all Vic's he's worked on, but, was unsuccessful for me.
Sounds like it.
So... Is there a way (without taking the whole dash off) to get to it, or a trick to "un-jam" it..?
It's most likely a vacuum problem. Look under the dash and look around. Hopefully you'll see something that you can get to.
Not sure if this is helpful or not, but, I am getting too much fuel into the engine, which I know is a vacuum leak... Could they be related? The old owner said he never had an AC issue.
Can you fix the vacuum leak? Is it a vacuum line or did a gasket let go?
I was told it wasn't too big of a deal. So, I haven't looked into it much.
Take a look. If it's easy then you may have solved the problem. :-)
Which would make the door open/close and me to have AC?? I did get a freon recharge.
Most any vacuum leak will. It's a domino effect. Look for old dried out vacuum lines to start with.
Sounds good! Thanks!
