Hello my chevy silverado would not start today .I was taking existing battery out and alarm sounded .I disconnected battery and replaced with new battery .The truck would not start .It wouldn't even make a sound like it was going to start .What's the problem

Sounds like you triggered the antithieft system, instructions on how to deactivate will be in your owners manual. On today's vehicles you just can't remove the battery any more without causing problems, there is a little device that is called a code saver that uses a 9 volt battery and plugs into the power port that saves all of the vehicles presets so things like this will not happen. HTH
