What vehicles can I use the transmission from?? I have a 1996 2wd extended cab chevy cheyenne. I have run across some 4L60e one was from a 96 Camaro there is another for a 96 van.

The van will be the better choice, the Camaro trans has different mounts and is geared for a lighter vehicle.

What transmissions will work with this truck I know the 4L60e what year model transmission will work with it

1994-98 But the ecm may have to be flashed to recognize the replacement trans.
