I'm trying to connect with a seller and I have left four messages over almost a
two week period.  I see my messages but no response and the vehicle is still
listed on your sight.  Am I doing something wrong?'

Make sure you have listed your email and phone number correctly. I receive inquiries on my cars and sometimes when I reply to the email, it bounces back to me and the phone number is not a working number. If they have a number listed try calling them, and if it's a dealer click on their website and make sure their contact info is correct.
