Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Other than transportation fees and the doc and
registration fees plus insurance what else do I
need to pay in order to get a car out of state
delivered to my home state? Would it be necessary
to travel to the lot i'm buying the car from in order
to do the paperwork?

You would be making a big mistake by not driving the car and inspecting it in person. If you live in Kalifornia make sure it has the correct emissions package.

That's pretty much it when it comes to the fees part but on the traveling down there. Most of the dealerships have out of state customers, so it shouldn't be a problem. But call to make sure, you never know.
