Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My well maintained 2003 Jeep died on 95 last night
while going 70 mph. Got to the shoulder and it
started back up but died again less that a mile
down the road. Scary with 2 kids and a pregnant
lady in the car.  120,000 miles on this car.
Thoughts?

fuel filter almost plugged all the way ? haven't had it happen lately but on damp cold weather days; high speed,,, humidity cold air chill ,will gather frost at the throttle plate and smother the airflow, melts instantly when slow down occurs
