What is the best car for very smooth ride with good gas mileage?

Unlimited budget? Best ride might be a Rolls Royce or a Jaguar. Best mileage would be a Prius or something similar.

Cadillacs have a very smooth ride, but you won't find one with better than 22 MPG or so.

Lincoln MKZ hybrid would get about 38 mpg and ride like a dream. A fairly low mileage used one can be picked up for a great price. Go to www.carmax.com and do some shopping.
