Loud roaring noise when accelerates
I have a 2005 Pontiac g6 that started making really
loud roaring noises yesterday when i accelerate or
turn on the car. No engine light is on, what could it
be and is it expensive to fix? I thought it could be
the muffler but I honestly don't know anything
about cars.

where is the noise coming from? sounds like an exhaust leak somewhere.

there may be an air pump that feeds the exhaust with a hose loose or worn , or EGR valve , pop the hood and rev the engine , if you know nothing about cars then what do you expect to do ?
I'm just trying to see if y'all think it would be am expensive issues or something thay can be fixed at home, the noise is coming from the engine I'm 99% sure

There's no telling what it is or what tools you'll need , none of us were born with mechanic experience so have at it if you want
The exhaust manifold bolts onto the engine. Still say exhaust leak.
What was the issue? And was it expensive? I have the same car and it's doing the exact same thing
