I have a 79 v6 firebrand with the stock exhaust on it. I was
wondering if there is anything I can do to make it sound a
little better

There's all sorts of performance options for your Firebird's exhaust, it all depends on how much you want to spend. Check out Summit Racing for a start. www.summitracing.com
