Cooling temperature sensor

I have a 03 grand marquis with a 96
grand marquis engine in it and I wanna
know where would it be located at?

This is what I found on line (The 4.6 has two coolant sensors, they are both behind and to each side where the alternator is mounted on the intake manifold. The one on the left side of the alternator is for the gauge, the one on the right, for the computer. Answer Coolant sensors are usually located in the intake manifold, near the thermostat. Follow back the upper radiator hose to the thremostat, and look for nearby electrical connectors leading into the intake manifold)
