What car suggestions

Asked by Gary Dec 12, 2016 at 12:46 PM

Question type: General

Just wondering what opinions are out there. I drive
around a hundred miles each way each day to work
there about 50,000 miles a year. Just wanted what
cars would people suggest it be a good for this
journey. At the moment I drive a Fiat 500 but it
does not seem like it will be good for the long-
term. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. Also is it best to get new or used?

With the miles you drive you will wear a car out in 4 years or less so buy a car that you can pay off before it wears out and that means a 3 year loan. You should look at Toyota's and Honda's. If you maintain them well you might get 4 to 5 years out of them. If you buy used you may be buying a car every year or two but you will have to do the math as to what is cheaper. With the miles you drive you don't have time to fool around with crappy cars.
