2006 pontiac grand prix won't drive

My fiancées automatic grand prix will only drive in 1st, 2nd
and reverse. Checked the transmission fluid and it appears
to be a darker color. Should we flush it out? Or any ideas on
what else it could be?

That the path of least resistance, I'm not a fan of flushing a tranny but if the fluid is really dark. Go and get a full flush and see what happens.
