Why won't a 2001 chevy Malibu start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have no prior issues with the car. No issues
starting nada. I drove it daily... everywhere. I
went to leave work and it wouldn't start. Not
even turn over. No click. Nada. The lights
come on. Dash comes on. Dings when the
doors open and let is in the ignition. A jump
won't start it and the battery tests good. It
just won't even try to start.... why??

Sounds like me be the starter. Take it out and have it tested, they do it for free. At least start ther
