83 Chevy pickup

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced the head gaskets new spark plugs new
spark plug wires new distributer cap ...it's turning
over fine just no fire any ideas ..?

No fire is the key word...make sure you have 12V going to the coil when the key is turned on. Check to see if you have spark coming out if the coil. Go over your connections to make sure everything got plugged back in and is hooked up. Otherwise a possible bad coil. Ignition Control Module, or the pick-up coil in the distributor. The ICM & coil can be tested at Auto Zone. On the pick-up coil there are 2 wires that run to it. Gently pull on them to see if there attached. If one is broken, the distributor would need to come back out to be replaced. These are things to check.
