Does a Delaware resident pay NJ tax on vehicle purchased in NJ and if so what is the rate ?

Yes you would have to pay NJ tax if purchased in that state. The rate would be the NJ county rate. Look up to see what the NJ county is and then you'll be able to put in the county and get their tax rate. You would not have to pay tax on the vehicle in Delaware....just the tags and title fees and registration fees..
