Dodge hemi comparability

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Drove straight through high water during flood warning. Got caught downtown & had no other
options. Mechanic says motor blow and not worth fixing. Does this sound right? Also I ran into
someone who has a 02 charger hemi motor. Will that fit my 05 Durango 5.7 Liter hemi magnum? If
so how much is that motor worth? Thanks. I hope I'm asking the right questions..... I'm a girl who
doesn't know much about motors.

Did it suck water into the engine? Water in the cylinders can break rods and do major damage.
