7.3 engine dying

Asked by Sam Dec 20, 2015 at 02:15 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 ford f 250 with 384000 miles on it.
The engine will just shut off like I turned the key
off. Sometimes it will go for days without dying
and sometimes a couple times a day. I've been
through numerous fuel filters. I'm so confused.

Could be electrical. You may have an intermittent short to ground in your ignition wiring. Happened to me once and was a devil to find. Hope it is something else for you.
