Towing a all wheel drive Subaru

Asked and answered in the other question, no, it must be on a raised dolly, if it's an automatic transmission.
Actually manual transmission cars can be flat towed.
Man towing any kind of AWD is risky, some manufactures say you can but I always worry about the torque transfer unit. Then there is the tracking on the steering of the towed vehicle, I saw one person that was towing a vehicle that had just pulled out of a fuel station and made a sharp turn to the left and his tow vehicle front tires didn't return to straight after the motor home did and he started smoking the front tires, thought that was wierd. Full_of_Regrets, are you sure about that? It's worth a call to double check. See this, it may affect manual transmissions as well, call the dealership. Don't take chances with this. http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f62/2014-forester-xt- cannot-towed-222634/
The flat bed dolly is the surest thing . No problem with that.
