Have a 87 thunder bird needs tranny what all fits this
What other trannmission can I put in
this without changing to much or just
rebuild mine? It's shudders into first
then shifts threw could it just be bad
torque converter?

service it first...flush.drain all of the atf.. line,converter/pan.if no help rebuild or have it benched.. tc probably fine..unless grooved or to much end play.

Did that already pan had a lot of grits/flakes/shavings and factory line plug meaning never was changed since it came out factory....
What size motor? Maybe a mustang auto trans might fit. Should be tons of those things floating around since most mustang owners want a 5 speed manual. Try your local craigslist auto parts section.
