They really didn't change engine size in a year check if all the hook up are the same and compare alternators are the same size they should be so it should be alright to use on the 99


Right , but make sure it's from the same engine. The Sables came with a 3.0 V6 OHV and a 24V DOHV version. They use a different alt.
