I have a 2001 dodge 1500 Laramie. I broke the front left axle. Will one out of a 1995 dodge 1500 fit?

brake. 1/2 ton.

axel shaft lock c clip post a pic of the broken one aand the one u want to put

Won't let me post a picture. I tried. Basicly I need another shaft. Found one in a field. But before I dig 3 foot of snow and dig it out will one off a 1995 fit? Junk yard doesn't have any. New is $350.00. Junk yard said no. Autozone said yes.
