I just bought a 93 Saturn coupe with a four cylinder. It has a rough idle that causes engine to die while at stop. After engine dies it's really hard to restart.

You have to hold throttle wide open
and let the engine reach about
2500rpm then it smooths out until
you let it drop below 1500rpm. Can
anyone help me figure it out

Possibly dirty/faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle plate
