i have a 2010 town@country touring van i am being told i need brakes after 14,000 miles

Luckily your van has four wheel disc brakes so with a little DIY instruction you could do the job properly with a minimum of tools and save money.

Get a second opinion. My '93 Chevy Caprice didn't need brakes until June of 2000 when it had 70,000 miles on it. HTH. -Jim
