What should a one inch carb spacer do for me
It all has to do with what motor it,s on,and the throttle body,or carburator you have on it.
Carb spacers were in the old days suppose to keep the heat away from the carb to prevent vaporization of the fuel in the carb, but some Fords used a spacer to warm the carb. The other theory was the taller the spacer the more time the air and fuel had time to mix. Then some spacers are needed to gain clearance for some carb linkage. So to answer your question about 1 inch will help with fuel vaporization in the carb and give you clearance for linkage.
In other words more torque.
It can help but don't expect too much.
