I have standing water in my
passenger side floor boards
but cant find a leak
anywhere.  Is there
something else that could
cause this

1 Answer

Mine did it. It's a known problem on the 96 Jeep. The A/C is leaking inside. Mine was eventually fixed. According to Jeep, there is a technical bulletin about it. The Jeep dealership said it needed a plug (part #5255217 $4.64 in 2007 from the Jeep dealership) and took it to an independent shop. The A/C drain news to be cleaned out. According to the invoice, the work performed to fix it was to "drill A/C box swizzle out drain, then plug it with the plug purchased".
