Where is the water pump located on 1995 gmc yukon

On the SBC's or 4.3 liter engines the water pump is bolted to the front of the block. The thermo-clutched fan will be bolted to it. Remove the belt fan and pulley. Remove the hoses. The water pump is held on by 4 bolts, you may need to loose some of the accessory brackets to slide the pump out. Ensure all of the air is purged from the motor after install to avoid air lock. May have to pull the thermostat or remove a heater hose from the top of the block.
