Do people like to buy a truck with, or without a shell?

Question type: General

If a truck has a shell, does it improve the appearence or saleability of it? (value wise,
maybe because of functionality, or safety for tools?)

If you're asking about a cap (cover for the bed) it depends on what the buyer wants to use the truck for. If, as you said they are hauling around tools and other valuable equipment then yes. But if maybe they want to use it to transport a motorcycle, quad, or dirt bike, then no. It also depends on the age group of the buyer. Seems like older folks like caps more so than younger folks. I think in that aspect it's an appearance thing. HTH. -Jim

cap? Are you talking about a Tonnau (spelling?) cover for Just the bed? I meant a shell.. So, does the shell Detract from the appearance of the truck you're thinkin'?
