when listing car to sell, what is "trim" field referencing?

Vehicles have different trim levels for each model. Each trim level has different options than the others. Example. 2008 ford escape xls -- xlt. - - limited. The xls, xlt and limited are the trim levels for the 2008 ford escape. Hope this helps
