How can i open a rear hatch on a pt cruiser when neither switch or key works?

from somewhere out there~I would recommend trying to pop off the hatches panel to gain access to the latch and disconnect the bar to the key cylinder and see if it will move to make sure the key cylinder isn't bad. i would also check the actuator connector and check for power when the lock is being activated. if you need wire colors we can get them for you~

It seems to me that my rear hatch uses electrical solenoid to open it. It is not working. I can't open it. There is no place for a key.
