I have a 99 Honda Civic VP with 165000 miles. I will be driving and the speedometer drops and the car stalls. Both times it happened the car started immediately. Had battery and alternator checked. They were OK. Had a tune up about 4 months ago. Any suggestions?

Inspect and clean all battery connections positive and negative. Also clean the negative connections on the frame and motor. Is your check engine light on? If so what codes is it showing? Does it shut off mainly when slowing down to stop like at a stop sign?
