I have a 1988 jeep that I need a tire for. My family has a parked 1995 mecury cougar xr7. The jeep has 215/70r15 98s tires and the cougar has 215/70r15 97s tires. from my knowledge 98s and 97s is the speed and weight you can carry? I was wondering if I switched one of the cougar tires over to my jeep for the time being if it would be fine to drive for a while? 1 Answer

2015 Jeep Compass with 42,000 Miles. A month ago I was driving on the highway and a lightening bolt came on the dashboard. The Jeep had power to the radio and call but I was pushing the gas and nothing. The bolt flashed for 4 seconds went off and then it drove fine. Last week I was driving and the lightening bolt, check engine light, and traction control came on. The Jeep begin to putt, the radio and all was wokring but it lost gas. I was pressing the gas and nothing, pulled the Jeep over took the key out waited a few seconds and put the key back in and it worked. The check engine light remained on, parked at my house. Came back out about an hour later put the key in and turned it over and all the lights were off and the Jeep has since been running fine. Any help is greatly appreciated, I am pretty stumped. Thank you!! 6 Answers

But what I did find out is that the owner before me had Speakers hooked up and the loose Wirer's are still running under my seats and in my truck the other end of the wiRers that ran to the speaker is just thier live wirers with nothing hooked to it? Could that possibly be why the battery is seen tobe draining and if So what could I do to fix it, or either how could I disconnect the wirers from the battery running live under my seats??? 4 Answers

I have a 2013 Chevy Traverse never had much problems at all with it. I drove it today and it shut off with an issue with the battery, I knew right away that it was the alternator. I had it checked out and it is the alternator, I purchased a new one. With the very cold temperature and me being on my way home from the doctor already, I plan on doing this tomorrow morning, my problem is that its parked in a parking lot. Do I need to take the passenger side tire off , and the wheel well as to better be able to get to the alternator and the tension pulley? 2 Answers
