2003 Saturn Ion 2: My a/c doesn't work on settings 1, 2, &3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got in a wreck and it almost hit the
radiator, but that's it. A couple days after
the wreck my a/c slowly stopped working. I
thought I busted a line, but it was like my
switch didn't work. I can put it on 1, 2, &3
and nothing but on 4 it blows out really
show like it's on 1. I had the blower fixed
and wasn't the problem.  My only other
guess is maybe the switch?  I'm a female...I
know the basics but nothing about a/cs.
Anyone know what's wrong?  Or have the
same problem. Also on heat its the same
but if it's not like freezing outside,  it will get
you warm. The a/c doesn't cool you down
at all. Please help. Even suggestions are
appreciated.  Thanks :)

Start with that. Sounds like you may have other problems but if it only blows on high the resistor is usually at fault.
