85' Corvette, arched battery to fenderwell, no power now ? Is there a test for a fusable link, or main fuse? No power in or out. new batt. and clean cables. stumped !

The socket touched fender well once or twice, and no power anywhere.

Came across ur new post, obviously if u hit the fender area with the wrench while tightening the positive cable and it arched, battery is charged on the correct poles, its very hard to diagnois like this. If i think of anything, is it possible the new starter is junk, maybe has a short in it. Test it out side the car.
