Changing search criteria?

I've got a saved search for a car, working great at notifying me, but I need to change the criteria / filter on the search.  How do I do that?

You have to first usubscribe at the bottom of the email alerts you receive and then establish a new criteria. Amazing that there is no other way to do it form you account setting. I tried the edit, and I kept getting the following message "You can't edit a search criteria that does not belong to you" eventhough I am signed in.
