Will my 1998 Chevy 4x4 front transfer
case fit my 1999 gmc 4x4 1500

It only has one transfer case and that is behind and bolted to the transmission. So I think you are needing something else when you say front. Maybe a differential? Regardless when looking for parts the numbers must match, so the number on your busted one must be the same numbers on the replacement part.
