What is year--make--model? You can use digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off. The generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. If the reading is down very much, use a charger and charge it up. Battery connections all good. The bat terminal at generator, hot all the time, even with key off. Use a digital multimeter or test light to check for voltage? If nothing there, have to check that wiring circuit. Usually the generator needs excite voltage or it won't charge. i can't look up your charging system wiring diagram w/o year--make--model? My database only covers vehicles in the US.
