Take the fuel line loose from the carb, aim into container or harmless direction, use rag over end of fuel line. Give the engine a crank see if gas comes out of fuel line? If no gas, check mechanical fuel pump. You may have to check line going to gas tank, blow through the line, see if anybody can hear air bubbles at the fuel tank fill tube? I'm thinking, you have a carb and mechanical fuel pump. Not fuel injected. Just my opinion.
