I was trying to buy a car from a listing on Cargurus but the seller has a copy
non-transferable car title.  Is it legal to sell a car with a copy non-transferable
title?  2011 E350 luxury 4matic

You want an original title. You are right to be concerned.

Thank you. I told him he had to have the original. He said I do not. Thanks for answering my question. I hope he doesn't dump this car on an innocent buyer.
