04 Chevrolet Silverado misfire

Asked by BLAKESELLS Apr 20, 2020 at 12:36 AM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Cylinder 1,2,3 and 7 are misfiring pretty badly. I’ve
replaced plugs, plug wires, and checked coils. I
have a bad O2 sensor as well. Any ideas as to why
to it’s misfiring?

Cylinders 1 and 3 are next to each other so a head gasket blown between the two cylinders is possible. Compression test cylinders 1 and 3 to be sure. If your readings are very low or zero on those two cylinders the head gasket is blown. Hope that helps! Jim
