I accepted someone's price but they stopped communicating. Am I obligated?

You need four things to have a contract: Offer. Acceptance. Consideration. Mental Capacity. You only have two unless you agreed to hold the vehicle pending payment. Otherwise, Until the buyer gives you a down payment or the full amount, you don't have a contract

My policy is first with the cash gets the car. Time to find another buyer.
