Car Registration

Go to MA's title bureau website, it will tell you the process for registering or titling out of state cars. To title out of state cars most states require a VIN inspection of the car, which may be as simple as a DMV clerk walking out into the lot and looking at the dash VIN. Some states are more involved. After you xfer the title then you register it as you would any in state car. If the seller is delivering the plates then you need to ask them how long it takes.
