So crazy question is it possible to put a 2.9l Volvo
into a Jetta with a 2.0l  both 03

If you have an unlimited budget, can fabricate parts (engine mounts, etc.),can reprogram the computer and splice together wiring harnesses then no problem. Probably only cost you 15 - 30 K.
