04 dodge ram 1500 quad cab with 5.7 hemi

Had a cylinder misfiring so I swapped the plugs
and wires and got a new battery but the check
engine light is still on and it sleeps like oil with
some white smoke coming out of the exhaust
running kinda rough

Sorry to inform you that white smoke from the tailpipe would indicate a coolant leak in the engine. Could be a blown head gasket, cracked head or crack in the block. You will need an engine repair.
