How to put in a distributor

1992 replaced pickup coil and the guy that
started the job quit in mid point so I need to
make sure the distributor is in right.

you need an engine timing light to time the rotor to the pistons knnnow your firing order

We know the firing order but no timing light

well get one on loan a tool at autozone and they will be able to tell you more

The truck not running

Don't you just hate it when the guy quits "in mid point"?

Yes and we have no idea how to fix it
