Are these good cars and does the care handle a lot of miles b4 something
goes wrong

25,000 miles is very low for a 2002. Are you sure that is the correct mileage? Have the car inspected by a reputable mechanic prior to purchase. Malibu's are like any other GM car, prone to oil leaks and interior trim problems. All in all it isn't a bad car and how you maintain it after you buy it will make a big difference in how long it lasts.

My 2002 Malibu has had a host of issues. $6,000 seems too high of a price. In my opinion you'd be better off spending it on a used Honda or Toyota sedan.
