Air and heat won't blow

I was driving my 1999 Lexis 300RX one day and the air from the vents just stopped.  Went over a bump and it started again. Finally shut off and has not come back on. If I have my temp control on air while driving cold air comes through the vents. Same with the heat. When I stop so does the air coming through. Was told I need a new blower motor because the fan is running. Very confused! please help!

My RX300 did the same thing, it wound up being the blower motor control located behind the glove box on the kick panel wall about 6 inches from the CD player. But the hitting a bump and it started to work is a classic bad blower motor symptom, your going to have to gain access to the blower motor and check for power and ground getting to the motor, if you both then the motor is bad, if you don't then it is the blower speed control module.
